Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and geopolitical domains to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation framework with 5-year roadmaps for product evolution and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing rapid prototyping cycles for emerging concepts using design thinking methodologies
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning workshops
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 transformation milestones
- Build and nurture an internal innovation ecosystem through thought leadership, mentorship, and strategic partnerships
- Translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies with clear ROI projections
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CPSI, CIMP) or futures studies (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating previous strategic foresight projects and their business impact
