Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptions through 2026+
- Develop and maintain future scenario frameworks to inform long-term strategic planning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovative product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish and manage cross-functional innovation incubators for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward anticipatory innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
