Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to prepare the organization for future operating environments
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling narratives
- Build and manage an innovation pipeline aligned with long-term business objectives
- Champion a future-forward culture through workshops, thought leadership, and internal education
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3
- Portfolio demonstrating completed foresight projects or published research
