Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology and market foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings translating complex future scenarios into business roadmaps
- Establish innovation KPIs and track emerging technology adoption curves to inform R&D priorities
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Mentor internal teams in futures-thinking methodologies to embed anticipatory intelligence into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., books, journal articles, keynotes)
