Responsibilities
- Design and execute horizon-scanning methodologies to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Develop proprietary trend intelligence frameworks using NLP, predictive analytics, and scenario planning
- Facilitate C-level innovation workshops translating future insights into strategic priorities
- Author thought leadership reports featured in Forbes, MIT Technology Review, and Wired
- Lead cross-functional teams prototyping future-state solutions for healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity tracking across client portfolios
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and ethical foresight practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent technical field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years applying trend analysis to business strategy at management consulting firms or R&D labs
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or patented innovation frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrix, STEEP analysis
- Track record advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption scenarios
- Public speaking experience at Davos, CES, or equivalent high-impact forums
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., MFSc from University of Houston)
