Responsibilities
- Develop and publish horizon-scanning reports on exponential technologies (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, climate engineering)
- Design 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and future-focused accelerators
- Present trend analysis to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and weak signal detection methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and technological black swans for strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Published work in journals like Future Studies or Technological Forecasting
- Deep expertise in exponential technology stacks (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi method, causal layered analysis, horizon scanning)
- Track record of influencing organizational strategy with future-oriented frameworks
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ continents
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 trend predictions
