Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to build 3-5 year strategic foresight models
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market disruptions and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Identify partnership opportunities with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in technology forecasting and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, futures studies, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic implementations
