Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year business objectives
- Quantify disruption risks and opportunities through scenario modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state possibilities
- Design and pilot prototype ventures in emerging domains (Web3, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized innovations or strategic pivots
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data-driven narrative capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
