Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Facilitate executive workshops with C-suite teams to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Establish global partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at Davos, CES, and Web Summit
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and innovation analysts using proprietary predictive modeling tools
- Secure $20M+ in government grants and venture capital for experimental projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 10+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating technological forecasts into billion-dollar business opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals with citations from MIT Technology Review and Nature
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools (e.g., Palantir, GPT-4 Enterprise, Metaculus)
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR, NSF) and managing multi-year R&D budgets
- Portfolio of implemented innovations generating >$100M in new revenue streams
