Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-facing solutions using agile methodologies
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities for market expansion
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business strategy and sustainability goals
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on emerging tech paradigms
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental projects with $2M+ annual oversight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record in launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP) or equivalent
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in Python, R, and scenario planning tools
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and academic research institutions
