Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological and societal trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on emerging disruptions (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen technologies
- Oversee the development of predictive analytics models forecasting market shifts 3-5 years ahead
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments and pivots
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies and design thinking frameworks
- Present future trend briefings to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Drive organizational culture transformation to embed innovation DNA across all departments
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching products/services that shaped industry landscapes
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) or equivalent
- Portfolio showcasing future-ready innovations implemented in complex organizations
