Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year innovation roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and bio-convergence technologies
- Lead moonshot projects through full lifecycle: ideation → prototyping → market validation
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive board and external investors
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technologists
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA on cutting-edge research initiatives
- Anticipate geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership (Fortune 500 or scale-up preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Executive-level presentation skills with TED-level storytelling ability
- Published author in technology foresight or peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Advanced degree in Physics, Bioengineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ paradigm-shifting projects from concept to reality
