Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI 2.0) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and geopolitical tech policies to identify strategic advantages
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing technologies through ethical frameworks and sustainable practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or advanced materials)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities using tools like Palantir or Tableau
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature, or HBR)
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for clearance
