Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and validating disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to position InnovateX as an industry pioneer
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and technology consortia
- Define governance frameworks for emerging technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Mentor internal talent and build future technology capabilities within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of launching at least two major technological initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CDMI)
- Demonstrated success in securing $5M+ technology innovation budgets
