Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions with 3+ year launch horizons
- Conduct market trend analysis and competitive intelligence for emerging tech ecosystems
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-AI symbiotic systems and ethical AI governance
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through stakeholder alignment and ROI modeling
- Mentor innovation lab teams in agile methodologies for long-term technology incubation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with 3+ year development cycles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and quantum algorithm development
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($10M+ portfolio)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, C++, Rust) and quantum computing platforms
