Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough opportunities in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives for 2026 market positioning
- Secure $10M+ in strategic partnerships and government grants for future-focused initiatives
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring technology adoption impact on ESG metrics and human advancement
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record in emerging tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech integration
- Published research or patents in future technology domains (post-2025 applications)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- MBA or equivalent with specialization in technology innovation management
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Prior experience scaling tech solutions from prototype to global deployment
