Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite to prioritize innovation investments and allocate R&D budgets
- Build strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry disruptors
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile innovation practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe) strongly desired
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (FDA, FCC, international bodies)
