Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in deploying AI, quantum computing, and biotech integrations
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical tech implementation and regulatory compliance
- Present future-focused technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology methodologies
- Establish KPIs for technology innovation ROI and adoption metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, GDPR)
- Prior experience in Austin or Texas tech ecosystem preferred
