Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year technology strategic roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into commercial offerings
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab focused on 2030+ technological horizons
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and their implications for corporate strategy
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present future technology forecasts to investors and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies at scale
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Deep familiarity with global tech policy frameworks (WTO, OECD, UN SDGs)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conferences
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
