- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) with potential strategic impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and disruptor threats to inform strategic pivots
- Present technology insights to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D
- Mentor technical teams on future technology adoption and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating into actionable strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and market modeling tools
- Exceptional communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Ethics) preferred
- Experience with global tech ecosystems and cross-cultural collaboration
