Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces, climate tech AI)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and assess market viability
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals
- Present technology vision to C-suite and investors securing $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Mentor senior engineers in future-proof architecture principles and emerging tech standards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in Fortune 500 tech or Big 5 consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI ethics
- Published thought leadership on 2030+ tech trends (IEEE, ACM, or Nature journals)
- Certified in Technology Foresight Methodology (TFM) and Strategic Innovation Management
- Track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue streams
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R) and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks (US, EU, APAC regulations)
