Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor technology teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for long-term innovation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Exceptional communication abilities for complex technical concepts
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Delphi 2.0)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Background in sustainability or ethical tech implementation preferred
