Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech) for commercial viability and integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to the C-suite and board
- Mentor technical teams in next-gen technology adoption and ethical implementation
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting our innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption and commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, or synthetic biology
- Experience building technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs and ROI models
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
