Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry predictions and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, AR/VR ecosystems, decentralized networks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and algorithmic governance
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot projects and technology incubation
- Publish thought leadership reports on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives to enterprise level
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Strong network with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
