As a key member of our executive leadership team, you'll collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering divisions to align technology investments with market opportunities and societal shifts. You'll represent Nexus at global tech forums, shape patent strategies, and lead cross-functional initiatives that position us as pioneers in the 2026 tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market analysis
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech integration
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire emerging technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech evolution forecasts
- Manage a $15M annual R&D budget for next-gen prototype development
- Represent Nexus at Davos, CES, and other premier 2026-focused tech summits
- Mentor a 12-person multidisciplinary innovation lab team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in forward-looking innovation planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/sustainability)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on 2025-2030 tech trends (Harvard/MIT/IEEE preferred)
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
- Deep network within Silicon Valley, Austin tech corridor, and EU innovation hubs
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Fluency in English with technical proficiency in Mandarin or German
