Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse integration, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget and oversee vendor/partner ecosystems for technology enablement
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future-focused technology implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-year+ technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, spatial computing, or biotech integration
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Executive presence with experience presenting to boards and C-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
