Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for innovation sourcing
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology disruption and future trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience presenting to C-suite and boards with executive communication skills
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- PMP or equivalent strategic certification preferred
- Published author or keynote speaker in technology innovation forums
