Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-digital convergence, neuro interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in sustainable computing and AI ethics frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate innovation into core business strategy
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 8+ researchers and engineers in next-gen tech development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching at least two commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Experience with scenario planning and future-state modeling methodologies
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent innovation framework
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
