Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse integration) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI tracking across 3-5 year horizons
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Strategic certification (e.g., CTO-level, TOGAF) or advanced degree in Technology Management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience building and leading high-performing innovation teams
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (patents, white papers, keynotes)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
