Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities for 2026-2030
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation pilots with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong background in strategic planning and market analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Portfolio of successful tech innovation launches
- Experience scaling global tech initiatives
