Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) and develop strategic adoption roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and build consensus on innovation priorities
- Create financial models and risk assessments for experimental technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property frameworks for breakthrough innovations
- Represent the company at global tech summits and shape industry discourse on responsible innovation
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Prior experience publishing white papers or speaking at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent forums
