Responsibilities

- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Design pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with potential 10x ROI impact
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for next-gen tech ecosystems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Author whitepapers on future tech ethics and societal impact frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in implementing AI, blockchain, or quantum solutions at scale
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in innovation management and venture capital principles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or HBR on future technologies
- Experience with federal grant programs (DARPA, NSF) for advanced R&D projects
