Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and AI ethics
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech startups and patent landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $20M+ innovation budgets across distributed research teams
- Author thought leadership publications for IEEE and Nature journals
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Published research in quantum algorithms or neural network optimization
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products
- Expertise in futures methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
