Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ with focus on AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Develop innovation frameworks to assess technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact analysis
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to source breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and technology forecasting
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or biotech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience managing innovation labs or corporate venture arms
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CIO)
