Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget across 5+ experimental projects
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 8-12 engineers and researchers
- File 3+ patents annually for breakthrough innovations
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout emerging startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML systems to enterprise level
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals (2019-2023)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Fluency in Python, Kubernetes, and blockchain architectures
- Experience with DARPA or NASA innovation programs preferred
- Active speaker at Web Summit or CES conferences
