Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion)
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and regulatory changes impacting 2026
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or sustainable tech
- Experience developing long-term strategic plans (5-10 year horizons)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certifications in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with specialization in emerging tech
