What you'll achieve: Design next-gen technology frameworks, secure $10M+ innovation budgets, and mentor cross-functional teams while driving patent development and industry partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual innovation budgets through ROI-driven proposals
- Develop strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech incubators
- Present future tech frameworks to C-suite and board members for investment decisions
- Drive patent development for proprietary innovations (target: 15+ filings annually)
- Mentor engineers and product managers on emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Deep expertise in future-trend forecasting (Gartner, IDC, or similar)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite, investors, and research institutions
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, HBR, or equivalent
- Experience with EU AI Act and global tech policy frameworks
