As a key member of our executive strategy team, you'll analyze emerging tech trends, identify disruptive opportunities, and develop frameworks for sustainable competitive advantage. You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering leaders to translate future-vision into tangible product roadmaps while ensuring ethical alignment with our corporate values.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) with 3-5 year strategic impact assessments
- Develop and maintain the Innovation Radar framework for identifying high-potential emerging technologies
- Architect cross-functional implementation plans for technology adoption across 15+ product lines
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology ROI and adoption velocity in next-gen solutions
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous risk-reward analysis protocols
- Build strategic partnerships with leading research labs (MIT Media Lab, CERN, etc.)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy with proven track record in emerging tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, AGI development, or advanced materials science
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Prior success in securing $10M+ R&D funding for experimental initiatives
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight credential preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle analysis, Delphi methodology)
