Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for future tech verticals
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment and autonomous systems
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Mentor junior innovators in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record scaling quantum/AI initiatives to production
- Published research in IEEE/Nature on future technology applications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor and quantum hardware landscapes
- Expertise in sustainable tech lifecycle management (EPEAT, TCFD)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
