Responsibilities
- Lead technology roadmap development for 2026+ initiatives across quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Collaborate with VPs of Innovation to identify emerging tech trends and market opportunities
- Direct R&D investment allocation for experimental technologies with >$50M annual budget
- Present strategic tech visions to C-suite and board members with data-backed impact projections
- Build and mentor a team of 10+ future technologists and innovation specialists
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech pioneers
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented future-tech innovations with $10M+ impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Futures Planning required
