Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market trends and business objectives
- Identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives and innovation sprints
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent strategy development
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio budget and resource allocation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record translating emerging tech into commercial applications
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical abilities with data-driven decision making
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
