Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption and commercialization
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and partnerships
- Represent InnovateCorp at global tech summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two disruptive domains: AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with tech focus
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network with VCs, government labs, and academic institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
