What You'll Achieve:
As the Future Technologies Strategist, you'll define our 3-5 year technology vision, identifying and validating disruptive innovations across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable systems. You'll lead market intelligence initiatives, conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions, and develop implementation frameworks for pilot programs. Your strategic insights will directly influence our product development roadmap and corporate investment priorities.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with agile development methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology or business innovation (preferred)
