Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research and development initiatives in quantum AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through patent analysis and startup scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven ROI projections
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio and evaluate external tech partnerships
- Mentor a team of 5 R&D specialists and foster startup-style innovation culture
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or German for global partnerships
