Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with global market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders at global forums
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation through our FutureTech incubator program
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through thought leadership and white papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years strategic tech experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for futuristic projects
- Strong network within global tech ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certification in Technology Strategy Management or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German preferred for global partnerships
