Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating future tech into existing product portfolios
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with research institutions and startups
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for future technology deployment
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society)
- Experience developing tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network within global research institutions and tech incubators
- Prior experience with ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech standards
