Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technical insights into strategic initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven impact analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy domains
- Experience with scenario planning and future-state modeling methodologies
