Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, aligning with organizational growth objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-interfaces) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech pioneers, research institutions, and venture capital firms
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies implementation
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for R&D initiatives and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-tech research
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Impact Assessment preferred
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Fluency in strategic planning tools (e.g., scenario modeling, SWOT analysis)
