Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic, bio-integrated systems)
- Design scalable architectures for next-gen AI and IoT ecosystems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget through data-driven proposals
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- Proven track record of commercializing disruptive technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience with venture capital due diligence processes
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Strong proficiency in Python and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
