Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Translate technical capabilities into scalable business models
- Secure partnerships with national labs and academic research institutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Proven track record of launching future-tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
